Action Learning
Most managers spend more time doing than thinking.
Most management training courses spend more time on thinking than doing, emphasising the teaching of concept and theory.
Action Learning is the process of bringing together a group of managers, often with varying levels of skills and experience, and from different parts of your organisation, to solve a real problem or challenge in your workplace and develop an action plan to overcome it. Throughout the process the managers learn to take effective action and learn by doing.
Action Learning involves real managers, working on real problems in real time, looking for real and adaptable solutions.
Action Learning is particularly effective at:
- Addressing issues and challenges which are complex and not easily resolved
- Finding solutions to the underlying root causes of issues
- Determining a new strategic direction or maximising new opportunities
Insight HR is one of a small number of Irish training providers accredited to facilitate Action Learning management training and development programmes.
